N.10. Secure Himalaya
The Secure Himalaya project, initiated by the Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change (MOEF&CC) in partnership with the UNDP, seeks to protect snow leopards, improve the Himalayan ecosystem, and improve the livelihoods of mountain communities. This project covers regions in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, and Sikkim.
