1. Bihar Economic Survey Important Information

• Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary presented the 2024-25 State Economic Survey on February 28, 2025 in the Bihar Assembly.
• The report was presented on the first day of the Budget session. It was the 19th edition of Bihar Economic Survey.
• The size of Bihar’s economy at current prices has increased 3.5 times over the last 12 years.
• The economy grew from ₹2.47 lakh crore in 2011–12 to ₹8.54 lakh crore in 2023–24.
• The first Economic Survey was presented in the Bihar Assembly in 2006-07.
• Bihar’s first Economic Survey was presented in 2006-07 by then deputy Chief Minister & Finance Minister of Bihar Sushil Modi.
