Objective

  • To provide employment opportunities to the unemployed in rural areas.
  • Improve rural transport facilities.

Beneficiary state

Beneficiaries

  • Poor and unemployed citizens of rural areas of Bihar state.
  • citizens who are interested in purchasing a commercial vehicle.
  • For each Panchayat, three Scheduled Tribe and two Extremely Backward Class beneficiaries will be given the grant.
  • 5 Beneficiaries from each panchayat of the state.

Subsidy Amount

  • 50% subsidy on purchase of new 3-wheeler to 10 wheeler vehicles.
  • Maximum subsidy up to ₹1 lakh.

Types of Vehicles Covered

  • Three-wheeler (Auto Rickshaw, Cargo Vehicle).
  • The beneficiary can buy a vehicle of 3 to 10 wheeler.
