1.7.  Special Packages for Bihar and Andhra Pradesh  —

For Bihar –

• 58900 crore rupees help will be provided to Bihar state.
• A new power plant of 2400 MW worth Rs 21,400 crore has been announced to be set up in Pirpainti, bihar.
• Mandir galiyara Pariyojna with Vishnupad, Mahabodhi temple corridors in Bihar.
• Nalanda University development for tourists.
• 26000 crore rupees for the road Projects in Bihar.

For Andhra Pradesh –

• The financial support of Rs. 15000 crore will be provided for ‘Reorganization of Andhra pradesh’.
• Completion of Polavaram irrigation project.
• Financial assistance was announced in the Union Budget for the Kopparthi (Kadapa) node in the Visakhapatnam-Chennai Industrial Corridor (VCIC) and the Orvakal (Kurnool) node in the Hyderabad-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor.
