1.4 New Schemes and Abhiyan started by the Budget 2024-25 –
- NPS Vatasalya Yojna – This scheme was started by Shri Nirmala sitharaman for the contribution by parents and guardians for minor children.
- Purvodaya Yojna – The tagline of this scheme is “Vikash Bhi Virasat Bhi”. It is related to the Eastern state (Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh) economic development scheme.
- Pradhan Mantri janjatiya Unnat Gram Abhiyan – Announced to improve the socio-economic condition of tribal communities. 63000 villages of aspirational districts will be included for benefitting 5 crore tribals.
- Jan Vishwas Vidheyak 2.0 —- It aims to improve the ease of doing business in India. The bill is one of the next generation reforms proposed in the budget, which also includes plans for economic policy frameworks, labor reforms, and simplification of FDI regulations.
