Financial Assistance

• FD of Rs. 2000 per year in account.
• This amount is deposited as fixed deposits in UCO and IDBI banks.

Age till which fund will be deposited

From birth to 18 years

Eligibility

• Only two daughters of a family will get the benefit of this scheme.
• Must be a resident of Bihar.
• Girl child registration should be done.

Benefits & Important Points —

• Through this scheme, money is given by the government after the daughters turn 18 years old.
• The state government is going to make an FD of Rs 2000 every year in the name of 15 lakh daughters.
• This amount is given to every girl born on or after 22 November 2007.
