Agricultural and allied sector
|
- Livestock and fisheries grew at 9.5%.
- Agri Investment Policy covers 7 products: makhana, fruits, vegetables, maize, medicinal plants, honey, tea.
- Cereals dominate cropping. Cereal area rose by 7.1% compared to 2022-23. Rice and wheat are main crops.
- Under Samagra Gavya Vikas Yojana, 5,873 units of high-breed cattle were set up.

- Bihar ranks third in the country in terms of road density.
- More than three and a half times the amount was spent on roads and bridges in 2020-24 as compared to 2005-10.
- Bihar ranks third in the country in terms of growth in transport and communication sector during 2011-2024.
- Bihar’s growth rate in the transport and communication sector during 2011-2024 was 7.6%.

Digital Governance and the Energy Sector
|
- The government adopted technologies like CCTNS, CFMS, Cyber Cell, e-Challan while promoting e-governance.
- Per capita energy consumption in Bihar was 134 kilowatt-hours in 2012-13, which is set to increase to 363 kilowatt-hours in 2023-24.
- The power consumer base has now crossed 2.12 crore, with peak power demand reaching a new record of 8005 Megawatt (MW) in 2024.

- Dropout rate in government secondary schools drops by 62.25% in five years.
