• Under this scheme, the income of the applicant should not exceed Rs 4 lakh from all sources.
• Divorce certificate of husband.
• Two local witnesses of the applicant who are not close relatives, written with full address

Benefits & Important Points —

• Under this scheme, the Meenak Kalyan Department of Bihar earlier provided financial assistance of Rs. 10,000 to women but now it has been increased to Rs. 25,000.
• From the year 2018-19, beneficiaries are getting this facility through e-Kalyan portal.
