1.5 Initiatives in the Existing schemes in the Budget 2024-25 —

PM Surya Ghar Bijli Yojna – 1 crore households will be given 300 units of electricity free every month.This scheme was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 15, 2024.
Pradhanmantri Gareeb kalyan yojna – It is extended to 5 years.
PM Awas Yojna – 3 crore houses will be built under this scheme.
PM Urban housing Scheme – Rs 10 lakh crore rupees is allocated for this scheme.
Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna – The announcement of phase IV of PMGSY scheme has been done to connect 25000 rural habitations with all weather roads. Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) was launched on 25 December 2000.
Mudra Yojna – Limit is extended to 20 lakh under ‘Tarun’ category. This scheme was started on 8 April 2015.
